Day 2 #fastandprayerkyiv

Last night I had a particularly vivid dream.
I was casually watching some soldiers as if in a war film or computer game; they picked up a rocket launcher and blew a hole in the side of a building, my sight zoomed in and I noted their professionalism and the ease of which the building was opened up- like taking the side off a dolls house. At this point I had assumed in my dream that I was watching friendly troops, but then my view was taken to the gaping hole in the side of the apartment block. I could vaguely see some figures through the smoke and the dust, they were upending a mattress and ducking below it. I thought that that was not going to protect them and wondered why they didn’t just run. Then I saw beneath the mattress a couple of children and their father desperately trying to get them some cover before the troops started shooting. This was no film or video game, but a vision of the horrors many are facing, with a military intent on destruction, and ordinary people in immense danger.
Psalm 83
Do not keep silent, O God!
Do not hold Your peace,
And do not be still, O God!
2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
If you are able and feel God is telling you to do this, please join with me in fasting and praying for the people in Ukraine.
I can not do much, but I can fast and pray, and trust in our loving God.
